Our studio is located at 7938 South 3500 East in Salt Lake City, Utah, inside the Sports & Fitness Clinic.  IN AUGUST 2005, WE WILL BE MOVING TO OUR NEW LOCATION INSIDE DARE DANCE STUDIO LOCATED IN DRAPER - CLICK ON CONTACT FOR EXACT ADDRESS!  Our studio is fully equipped with the following high-quality Balanced Body (www.pilates.com) equipment:

  • 2 Arc (small) Barrels

 

POLICIES

Payment:

  • All Pilates sessions and classes are either pre-paid by the 5th of each month or are on a punch card basis.  We accept cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard.  Unless otherwise contacted, the instructor will always arrive for each session until paid sessions are finished.  If payment is not received by the 5th, then your timeslot will be forfeited.  Sorry, there are NO REFUNDS.

Cancellation/Late Policy:

  • We ask that you give us 24 hours notice for cancellations.  Any missed sessions (no shows) or late cancellations (made less than 24 hours of timeslot) will be charged in full and NOT credited towards another session.  Understanding that there are circumstances in which a 24-hour cancellation is impossible, you’ll be allotted three last-minute cancellations per year.
  • Sessions that are cancelled before 24 hours of timeslot may be rescheduled within the same month, or credited to next month's tuition.
  • If you are more than 20 minutes late, your session is considered a “no show,” and you will be charged for the full session. If you are late (less than 20 minutes) then you’ll be given a condensed workout within your allotted timeslot.
  • Sorry, there are no refunds.
  • Please respect this policy.  Thank you.

Children:

  • Since there is no childcare facility at the studio, and as a courtesy to our other clients, please leave children at home. If you are unable to get a babysitter, please reschedule your session.

Referrals:

  • As a “THANK YOU,” you will be given a complimentary gift any time a “referred friend” signs up for an initial Pilates series.

Recommended Attire:

  • Exercise wear that is comfortable, somewhat tight-fitting, and allows for full range of movement.  Biking shorts or leggings are recommended.  Please, no baggy shorts as you'll be lying on your back for many exercises.
  • Shoes are not worn in Pilates, but socks (preferably clean) are mandatory.  Please no bare feet!

Safety Concerns:

  • As per the waiver, you must let IE Pilates and your instructors know about pertinent health issues or anything you think may affect your workout.  If your condition changes – pregnancy, even minor falls – please let us know so that we can provide the best possible service.

Observation:

  • Intelligent Exercise is a training facility. From time to time, trainees may observe lessons, take notes, and/or assist the instructor. This is solely for the purpose of the training program and education.  As space is limited, please ask instructor prior to your session, if you may bring an observer with you.
